PHILOSOPHY

A more appropriate title would be guidelines of photography but philosophy sounds cooler. 

The number one rule we must all follow is DO NO HARM! No shot no matter how rare the subject or how awesome the shot is worth endangering a life, whether it be your own or the subject!

Photography is one of our best tools for documenting, recording and enjoying natural history. It is also one of the best ways us privileged few that get to observe and hopefully photograph the wonderful places and the animals that inhabit them can share these things with others. The more people see and learn about nature the more they will want to save it.

Always keep in mind the best nature photographers are great naturalists before anything else. It's the understanding and respecting of your subject that will allow you the opportunity to photograph it.
